I had the pleasure of photographing the U kids this past week. J is on Liam's soccer team and H is Abby's absolute favorite "big friend." So it was a real treat to get to capture some fun portraits of them. It was also fun to see them in a different environment! The Cokers came out this weekend for a family session. I have a special connection with this family because Mom's name is ... TERI! Just like me :) I just LOVE her red hair. We got some great captures and I know they are going to love them. (And their daughter - well, she is just gorgeous!) Here are a few of my faves ...

One Cold Morning!!

The lovely Z family came to visit me last week for an outdoor session. Of course, it was the ONE morning that it was COLD and their little guy did not like it!! Being age 2 means you get to decide if you like or don't like something, and everyone must take notice :)
We got a few neat captures outdoors then headed into the studio to finish up. Much better response in the warm studio!! Little K enjoyed playing with my toys and we got some great stuff! Here are a few of my faves...

of the Bright Beginnings Baby Club is Miss Kaiya. I am so excited to have her in our club because she is just soooooo cute!! I wanted to pinch her little cheeks, she is so adorable. Baby M!

Little Makaela came to see me last week, and since we were hurrying to get her back here to order birth announcements, I completely forgot to "blog" her. Her mommy and daddy came in today and I wanted to get a few of my faves up here. She was such a dream newborn - completely alert and awake, but never even cried. Some kind of miracle baby, for sure, because MINE always cried when they were awake :) They also brought in their black lab (which black labs have a special place in my heart). I love the one of "Deuce" liking Makaela all over!!

Fall Carnival Fun

My son's school (Zion Lutheran School) had it's annual fall carnival last week. I got talked into taking photos (really, you all know I loved it!!) of the kids dressed in their Halloween costumes. Such creativity! Seeing all the young kids having good, safe fun was really great. There was a pie-eating contest, a pumpkin carving contest, a cake-walk (Will won some delicious brownies) and lots of bounce-houses. Abby wasn't even afraid this year, so that made it even better!! Senior Beauties

I had the pleasure of photographing two lovely young ladies last week. Each of them are graduating seniors this year at their respective high schools (Georgetown and Hutto). I love photographing "grads" because they are so much fun and have so much personality. (Although I will admit that I am feeling OLD because Anna was one of my students when I taught Art at Hutto Elementary, years ago.) Here are some of my faves from each session...
