Bright Beginnings

Little Miss A is one of our Bright Beginnings Club babies. She is so adorable, I just want to squeeze her little cheeks when she comes in (don't worry, I don't squeeze any harder than a grandma :) She was just as adorable at this session as her last - lots of giggles and a fixation on my antique silver cup! We got a great variety of images, esp for this age - but she did show me her "army crawl" which was hysterical. Here are a few of my faves ...

One is FUN!

Here is Miss Katelyn - she just turned one and is such a doll. And she is a little pistol! I think that her mom, grandma and great-grandma were completely worn out after her session. We had fun, though, and got some amazing images! So here is a sneak peek for them, so that they don't worry we didn't get any cute shots.

I just love "generation" portraits. I think they are so special. How wonderful for Katelyn to have not only her grandma but her great-grandma, too!

This one has such a neat, antique feel to it that I added a little extra touch to make it feel like an old-style portrait.

And of course, when she was "done" with all my shenanigans, she let me know it!! But overall she did great with all the clothing changes, esp for a one-year old! A great session :)

Meet the newest "K"

The gorgeous mama-to-be that came in a few weeks ago (see here) just had her little angel, Kohen. What a sweetie-pie! No fussiness at all, and she was soooo snugly (I had to get my "baby-fix" hehe). I know that her big brother and sister are going to just love her to pieces, and I can't wait to photograph the whole family for their holiday cards this year. Gorgeous Family

I had the pleasure of photographing the Fulmer family last week. I have photographed both kids for their senior portraits, and they wanted a nice family shot with their dogs. I love photographing pets, so keep that in mind if you are wanting a family portait with the fur-babies included! We do pet portraits outdoors, usually, so schedule those sessions soon, before it gets wicked hot!!

Beautiful Mommy-to-Be!

Stephanie came in last week to document her first pregnancy. It is such a small world - she found me through a web-search, but it turns out she lives two roads over from me!! I was excited to not only have a new client (who is gorgeous - check out that PERFECT belly!) but to meet another of my neighbors. Out here in the country, according to my hubby, "you don't just walk up to someone's door and say Hi" so meeting the neighbors has taken a loooong time. I'm really glad to know her, and can't wait to meet her hubby and the new baby - it's going to be a GIRL! Turns out her family has another new baby that I hope to photograph soon - their favorite mare had a new foal just days after our session. Keep your eyes out, I may just stop by and get a few captures of the new mommy :)

Kinder-Grad!

Wow, I can't believe that my little boy is graduating from Kindergarten tomorrow!! Time really has flown by - seems like yesterday he was just a tiny thing in my arms. We celebrated with a special portrait session in honor of him being a graduate! Then I thought, "Hmmm... others might also want to do the same thing..." so I decided to do a day of "Kinder Grad" sessions.

Little Dancers

My daughter, Abby, had her first dance recital a couple weeks ago. It was so exciting for her (and me) and I got some cute shots. She attends the Performing Arts Studio here in Georgetown. Her teacher, Ms. Lisa, is such a hoot and the perfect teacher for her - they are both wild and crazy and FUN. Here are some cute shots of Abby and some others that I liked. Enjoy!

Beautiful New Lives in Bloom

Charlene is having TWINS! Can you believe it? She is so gorgeous and her belly is just so perfect! And oh, her hair, I will tell you I was VERY jealous of her hair - so full and bouncy!!
I can't wait to meet her little darling GIRLS as soon as they arrive. By having me photograph her maternity, she will have her newborn session COMPLIMENTARY. I'm just so excited to have another set of newborn twins to work with!! Anyway, here are a few of my favorites from her maternity session ...
