{Austin Family Photographer) Meet Baby Lela!

I've been photographing the lovely "A" family for a few years now, ever since big sis Kaya was one of our Bright Beginnings babies. They've added another gorgeous girl to the family. I'm excited that little Lela is our newest Bright Beginnings Baby Club member - so I'll get to see her two more times this year! Here are a few of my faves from her first session...

{Austin Family Photographer} Connections!

I just love my job! It's always fun to make new connections with other businesswomen, and then get to share in their family. Melinda is the editor of Austin Woman Magazine and we "met" through my running an ad in their "Pink Pages," which features woman-owned businesses. I was thrilled to photograph her lovely family recently. They were so gorgeous and stylish - when she asked if she should wear the orange shirt, I just LOVED it! It really pops with the other colors and the outdoor setting. And little B was hilarious. He is two and kept me on my toes - and he wasn't too happy that my antique/rusty tricycle didn't really move, LOL. We got some great images - here are a few of my faves ...

{Georgetown Family Photographer} Bluebonnets!

The rain this winter REALLY pumped the bluebonnets, much to my delight! We've been feverishly photographing families, children, a bride, even a dog, in these gorgeous Texas treasures. Here is the C family, whom I've been photographing for a couple years now. I love the outfits they chose, and the weather was just perfect. Not only did we capture that "classic" family image, but we went out further in the field to really let little K go wild. So much fun! Here are a few of my faves ...

{Austin Newborn Photographer} Major Cuteness!

You'll remember the lovely Lorelei and her outdoor maternity session a few weeks back. Her adorable bundle of joy made his arrival and they came to see me when he was just days old. Little Major was very very calm, but so so alert! I think that means he is going to be super smart! And he is oh so adorable! We did manage to get a few sleeping images, too! Here are a few of my faves from his newborn session ...

{Austin Family Photographer} A Bird in the Hand ...

That is what the "C" family said to me when, the morning of their session, it was dreary outside! Rather than chance another weather mishap, they decided to just come in and make it work. Lo and behold, the rain held off for a couple hours and we not only got some beautiful studio images, but we were able to go outside as well. Jenny really wanted something different for her family portrait, and I think we nailed it! It was great working with this family - they found me at the annual PlayBingo event (I volunteer for the Center for Child Protection, and donate to the auction at this event). Click the link for more info on how you can attend this very fun annual charity event! Here are a few of my faves from their session ...

These three images of their beautiful children would make a stunning wall gallery - perfect as 20x16s - to accentuate any room in their home. And with big brother headed off to college in California, it's the perfect way to keep him close to heart.

BLUEBONNETS!! {Austin Family Photographer}

I know you've all seen the bluebonnets popping up along the highways. Well, since I will NEVER put a child at risk by photographing them alongside a busy street, I have waited til ours (on our studio property) are ready - and they ARE!
We are booking this week and next, with a BONUS - Saturday, April 10, we will be off-site at a private ranch for sessions. There will not be an extra Saturday fee (like there normally is), so if you need a Saturday and want bluebonnets, this is your only chance :)
Call now to schedule your session - these will take place in late afternoon/evening, so weeknights shouldn't cause too many scheduling issues with school and work! 512.930.1902
