Sweet Sisters - and Lollipops!

These sweet girls came to see me today. We had a great time outside playing on my antique tricycle and wearing pretty pettiskirts. When they started to get a little fussy (naptime was on the horizon...) I pulled out the universal symbol of FUN - LOLLIPOPS!! Mr. T returns!!

Soooo Sweet!!

I had the sweetest newborn come in today. Baby Sloan is a tiny puff of sweetness. Really! She did not cry the entire time, not a whimper, til the very end. Then, she gave me the BEST gift - a BIG SMILE. So I had to come right in and start proofing these. Plus, grandma came along and we got an awesome capture of the three generations!! Upcoming Events and Deadlines

The holiday season is coming upon us fast! There are a few great portrait opportunities for your darling children, which also help the community!

November 9-10 is our Winter Wonderland limited edition. The set features a wintry scene, complete with snowflakes to toss! Winter fairy outfits and snow capes are available for the girls (please mention when booking if you want this option). Dress the kids in winter sweaters, hats and scarves and come over for some winter fun. Session fee is $75, if you bring a sack of pantry items to be donated to the Capital Area Food Bank.

Included with the session is one artist choice 5x7 bordered art print.

November 30-Dec 1 is our annual Holiday set. This year's set is "The Night Before Christmas," which is perfect for kids in jammies, snuggled up reading a book, or opening gifts under the tree. This set is designed for children but small families are welcome, too. Session fee is $75 for up to two children, $125 for families. Earn a $25 print credit by bringing in a gently used, clean coat to be donated to Coats for Kids. Session fee includes one artist choice 5x7 bordered art print.

Deadline for guaranteed delivery by Christmas is December 10 - this means that you need to complete your session earlier so that your order can be placed by December 10. I always do my best to deliver all orders before the holiday, but cannot guarantee them past December 10. The "Night Before Christmas" orders WILL be back in time for Christmas!!

Cuddly, Sweet and Soft

I had the pleasure of photographing TWO newborns last week, both of whom made their entrance earlier than expected. First, Baby T, who is just beautiful. She debuted several weeks ahead of schedule, but everything is great and mommy already looks dreamy! I am so jealous (I, who still have the "baby weight" from Abby, who is 3 1/2!!). Pickin' Pumpkins - so much FUN!

What a weekend! Friday and Saturday was our annual pumpkin patch theme set. We had a great time photographing our little friends in their fall finest and their Halloween costumes. All this while I was also planning and preparing for my Liam's 6th birthday party on Sunday. Whew! It all went great, both the sessions and the party. Model Mommy

Kara came in today for maternity portraits. Wow, she is so gorgeous! I don't know if she has modeled before but she sure had the look for it, I'm sure you will agree. I was so excited, I had to blog some of these while they are fresh and new. Kara, I hope you like these as much as I do!

Pickin' Pumpkins - the set!

We have just a couple open spots on Saturday and several on Friday afternoon. Here is the set we have built this afternoon! Thanks to my sweet hubby for figuring out how to use this oh-so-cool tree in the set. It was no easy feat, as it is a real branch I drug out of the creekbed and it was very top-heavy. But he worked for an hour getting it perfectly set in and mounted so that it won't move (now, no swinging from the tree allowed!!). I can't wait to photograph all my sweet little clients on this set this weekend!!
