I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely young lady recently. "C" is 10 and is quite the renaissance girl! She was so much fun to work with - she has many hobbies and brought plenty of interesting things to add to her session. I really love to photograph this age, they really have developed a lot of personality. I think it's a big boost to the self-esteem for a child of this age, too, to have a session and feel like a model. It's a huge leap from a boring school picture, that's for sure. I think "C" had a great time and we got some amazing, fun images. Here are a few of my faves...

It's just around the corner, that day when you share your love with that someone special. Celebrate this year with a Pure Love portrait session with Teri Mason Photography. Featuring a pure white background, your portrait can be bright and colorful, subdued and simple, or even black and white with a splash of color. This 20-minute session is designed for children of all ages and includes 20 custom valentine cards (w/envelopes) to hand out to friends. And the best part? It's only $25 per child!!
To "sweeten" the offer, we have some amazing collections, starting at only $149, and when you choose a collection, you get a custom portrait handbag as our gift! Model Siblings - Austin Children's Photographer
These adorable kiddos came in for individual model sessions. The "T" children were "model" in every way - so cute, so well-behaved! We even had a chance to get a few of them together! Here are a few of my faves ...
Little Princess - Austin Children's Photographer
Meet "J" who came in this week for a Model session. Isn't she the cutest thing? I fell in love with her instantly, her rosy cheeks and bright eyes, plus she was so SWEET! Just followed my direction brilliantly. And she is only just turned 3! I can't wait to see this little dear again for a longer session, we'd have so much fun! Here are a few of my faves from her model mini ...

Baby Blues - Austin Baby Photographer
Meet Gavin, isn't he adorable? He came in for a mini session this week. He's too young for the model contest, but I still fell in love with his big blue eyes. He was so expressive, check out the cheeks, I just LOVE it! Of course, I had to put him into my new giant teacup, too. Keep a lookout - those teacup images are going to turn into a teacup gallery one of these days!! Here are a few of my faves from his session...
One of those days ... Austin Children's Photographer
I think little miss Gracelynn was having "one of those days." It's hard being two, after all! She is as cute as a bug, but was having NONE of my funny business at our session. After a little coaxing, a LOT of tears, and a quick trip out to see our ducks (thank goodness for living on a farm!), she decided we could have a little fun and we got some GREAT images. Whew!
I know her mommy was worried, but rest assured, Kelli, they turned out adorable! Here are a few of my faves...

What a Natural! - Austin Children's Photographer
Meet miss "K" who came in for a mini-session to enter the National Charity Model Search. She was a natural! Loved the camera, knew her "moves." Isn't she adorable? (And her outfit was perfect to use for my Pure Love promo!) Here are a few of my faves. It's going to be hard to choose which image to enter!
I just LOVE this expression. It is so grown up and thoughtful!

3Ks 2cute! Austin Children's Photographer
I just love these kiddos! The "T" kids (whose names all begin with "K") are so adorable! I got to photograph each individually for the National Charity Model Search. Then, of course, I couldn't let little K miss her chance, so I plopped her into my brand new, giant teacup. Here are a few of my favorites...
Images from our studio will soon be posted for voting. Keep your eyes here on the blog for the announcement, and then GO VOTE! It's for a great cause, and you'll see some CUTE kiddos!

We've been busy here photographing all our aspiring models, with many more scheduled this month. The voting will soon open, so don't miss your chance to enter! In addition to the great national prizes, our studio will be awarding a full session and gallery wrap to our local winner. We're also working on some other cool prizes from local businesses, so who knows what goodies are in store :)
You can still get in on the action - a model session with Teri Mason (approx. 20 minutes, lots of gorgeous poses, and specially priced collections) plus one entry into the National Charity Model Search, for only $25! Click the box at right (and don't forget to add your PHONE #) to buy your session. We'll contact you to set up your session time.
Here is Tristan, one of our Bright Beginnings babies - but really growing up. He just turned 19 months and is so adorable. We'll be adding this image to the competition:
Plus a few other faves from his session...
And of course, how could we choose with all these great expressions? This will look amazing on his bedroom wall!
New Year's Baby - Austin Newborn Photographer
Well, almost. Little "I" made her debut on January 2, 2009. I was honored to photograph her first portrait session just a few days later. She was the most alert newborn I've ever worked with - did not sleep one wink! But lots of great eye contact and nary a cry, except when she needed to have a little snack. What a sweet baby girl! Here are a few of my faves from her session...
LOVED this tutu that mom brought in!
I thought this grouping would be fabulous on their walls. I would suggest 12x12 on standout for a really contemporary presentation.
