Twins!

I photographed these cuties a little while back, but my old blog was so hard to work with, I never posted. So here is a glimpse of Connor & Lucy - they were premies, and we photographed them on their DUE date!

Texas Bride!

This is Sam - a true Texas bride. We had so much fun at her session - out by the barn, on the old, abandoned bridge. What a gal! I can't wait to photograph her wedding in the fall. Isn't she gorgeous?

Seniors!!

We've been really busy here photographing some last minute seniors, class of 2007. I wanted to share a few of the really cool kids I got to meet. Here is Laura - a volleyball goddess, and oh, that red hair! We had a lot of fun in her session!

This is Katrina. She is an early grad at age 16 - so smart!

And Tracie - she is so cute! The second one is in our new portrait garden.

Portrait Parties!

Summer is the perfect time for a Portrait Party! You've all been to a home party - Pampered Chef, Jewelry parties, etc - this is a similar idea. I bring the studio to YOU! Each guest brings their children in for a quick session, with 10-20 images. All galleries are hosted online and the hostess collects the orders. As a hostess, you will earn FREE portraits of your children and your guests will get great, professional portraits for a great price and no session fee, no minimums, and no committment!

Summer Hours

Summer is here and the kids are out of school. We'll be spending some quality time together each week, so wanted to post our summer hours. We will be CLOSED on Fridays, effective through August.
M: Studio closed (paperwork!) Evening location sessions available (perfect for Sun City or our portrait garden).
T-W-Th: Studio open (by appointment) 10-4. Sessions available at 10, 11:30, 1, and afternoon for high school seniors.
F: Closed
Sat: We will be open select Saturdays this summer for regular sessions, as well as one special event each month. Any other Saturday there is an additional portrait credit due to book.

Rain, Glorious Rain

I can't believe it is the end of May! We've had the most wonderful spring. The weather has been cooler than usual and we've gotten so much wonderful RAIN. Yes, rain does dampen outdoor portraits, and if we get too much, it leaks into my studio - yuck. But it makes everything look so beautiful and green. And it helps Will's gardens to grow (without a HUGE water bill LOL). We've been enjoying fresh lettuce, spinach and asparagus from the garden, and just yesterday he brought in some gorgeous baby squash. So instead of letting the rain dampen my spirits, I'm thanking the Lord for the glorious rain!

New Blog!

We'll we are trying this again! My last blog was hosted by another site and was just so complicated. I'd create a post, go through all the hoops, then it would just go "poof" and disappear. Very frustrating. Many of my favorite blogs are hosted here, so I made the switch. Hopefully, this will be easier and I will be able to share more of my amazing clients' photos, as well as some fun family stuff.
