Kinder-Grad!

Wow, I can't believe that my little boy is graduating from Kindergarten tomorrow!! Time really has flown by - seems like yesterday he was just a tiny thing in my arms. We celebrated with a special portrait session in honor of him being a graduate! Then I thought, "Hmmm... others might also want to do the same thing..." so I decided to do a day of "Kinder Grad" sessions.
Monday, June 2, from 10 am - 2 pm, bring your Kindergarten Graduate to the studio for their own special session. The cost is only $99 and includes an 8x10 cap & gown portrait, 8 wallets of the cap & gown, plus six 5x7s (from three poses of your choice). Call the studio now to reserve your special Kinder Grad session! 930-1902

Little Dancers

My daughter, Abby, had her first dance recital a couple weeks ago. It was so exciting for her (and me) and I got some cute shots. She attends the Performing Arts Studio here in Georgetown. Her teacher, Ms. Lisa, is such a hoot and the perfect teacher for her - they are both wild and crazy and FUN. Here are some cute shots of Abby and some others that I liked. Enjoy!

Beautiful New Lives in Bloom

Charlene is having TWINS! Can you believe it? She is so gorgeous and her belly is just so perfect! And oh, her hair, I will tell you I was VERY jealous of her hair - so full and bouncy!!
I can't wait to meet her little darling GIRLS as soon as they arrive. By having me photograph her maternity, she will have her newborn session COMPLIMENTARY. I'm just so excited to have another set of newborn twins to work with!! Anyway, here are a few of my favorites from her maternity session ...

New Orleans Safari!

Will and I spent Mother's Day weekend in New Orleans, photographing some great seniors. While the Big Easy is a fabulous place to photograph - every other door and wall are different colors and textures - we can easily have as much fun in downtown Austin or Georgetown!
Here are some of my favorites - these were taken by both Will and myself - we passed the cameras back and forth! Enjoy!

We got to see a parade while we were there, so of course I had to get some shots of that!
And here is one that Will took of me - I actually like it!!

Baby Z!

This little cutie came in last week - only a couple weeks old and so alert! I am usually able to keep my newborns asleep for awhile, but she slept for only the first couple, then WIDE awake. But so sweet, not fussy! I love them both ways - asleep OR awake! Here are a few of my faves from the session...

One More!

Just when I thought the Class of 2008 was all finished, we had one more lovely young lady come in for a session. Julia is headed to Trinity in San Antonio this fall and wanted to capture these last fleeting moments as a SENIOR! Here are a few of my faves from her session today...

BabyPalooza!

We've had a glorious run of newborns here at the studio. Which, of course, I just LOVE! Newborns are my favorite - even though they cry, they poop, they tinkle (usually on daddy!),
they are just so sweet and, well, NEW. Will says that we are "done" with having our own babies, so I get my "baby fix" with all the precious newborns that I am honored to photograph.

Here is Carson, who came in last week with his mommy and daddy. His mommy owns GingerSnapsKids, an online boutique that I highly recommend. She has the CUTEST outfits for both boys and girls. Of course she had some adorable blankets (like the awesome animal print shown below), and some little hats, too. Carson wasn't really "in the mood" for more than the one hat, though! Anyway, here are a few of my faves from his session.

And this is Miss Lorelei. She was not only adorable but her mommy and daddy were soooo gorgeous! And willing to try new things :) Lorelei was such a sweet baby, didn't cry at all, and gave me such great eye contact when she was awake. Here are a few of my (many) faves from her session.

New Brother

I met this sweet family last year when they came in for bunny photos. Now there is a new addition, a precious little brother. At age 2, a new baby can be a challenge, but I think everyone is adapting well. We got some great images, I know mom is going to be excited to see them! Here are a few of my faves...
