It is a Privilege! {Georgetown Family Photographer}

It was an honor and a privilege to photograph the M family recently. They've been so gracious to "share" their daddy to serve our country in Iraq, it's a small thing for me to give back to them. It takes a very special kind of woman to be without her husband for months or years on end (I can hardly make it through a Friday night while Will runs the kitchen at Amante's!). My hat goes off to you, Cahterine!! I met this family through working with the GHS Sparklers, with whom Savannah dances. When I found out that Mark was due home right before Christmas, I had to get them in the studio. I can't wait to share all of them with the family, and gift them a gorgeous portrait to grace their home. Here are a few of my faves...

Back in the Swing of Things ... {Georgetown Family Photographer}

I hope that everyone had a restful holiday and took some time to enjoy family. The weather here was gorgeous for most of the week, and I'm so glad I took a couple days OFF to play with my kiddos! But now I'm back in the office and ready to tackle a new year! First off, catch up on blogging :) Several amazing families came in over the break and you'll be seeing them all in the next few days.

Then, get ready, we've got some FABULOUS events and specials coming up in January. FREE goodies, FUN kid-events, SEXY grown-up valentine sessions and a new Charity Model Search. So stay tuned!!

The "S" family came to see me recently. I photographed little R when he was a newborn - he's getting so big!! It was great seeing the whole family - but W is such a perfect model! Put the camera on him, you get the most natural, gorgeous smile! Lookout, he's gonna be a heartbreaker. Here are a few faves from their session...

Brand New! {Austin Newborn Photographer}

Meet the precious Miss A. She was such a great little subject - slept peacefully through so much jostling and moving around (by me!) and then after a little snack, posed for a few more with mom & dad. Isn't she just beautiful? I love all that dark hair - she is going to have beautiful hair, just like her mom! Here are a few of my faves...

Gorgeous *and* Talented! {Georgetown Child Photographer}

The gorgeous "H" girls came in recently for a session. They both dance at the same studio as my Abby, and they are SO talented! I've enjoyed watching them perform the last few years and was excited to have them in front of my camera. They are both "naturals" and were great fun to work with. We even got mom in a few - you can see where they get their good looks! Here are a few of my faves...

Sweet Baby D {Georgetown Newborn Photographer}

I finally got to meet the newest Ramsey! Chef James & Teri welcomed baby D about four weeks ago and I met him this week. What a cutie! Being a bit older than most of my newborns, it was kind of refreshing to work with a baby that was mostly awake, and really strong! Look at him push up his head! He is a lucky little guy, he has a big sister who just LOVES him. They were so cute together, I predict they are going to be great friends. Here are a few of my faves...

Loving my Red Couch! {Georgetown Family Photographer}

A few weeks ago I found the most gorgeous red couch for sale on craigslist. When I called the owner, it turned out to be another photographer, who was sad to let it go (but didn't have the room to keep it). I am proud to say I have been putting it to great use this holiday season, with all the beautiful holiday outfits!
The "A" family came in recently for a session. I got to photograph the kiddos last Christmas, and this year the whole family got involved. They are such a photogenic family! Here are a few of my faves, including one on the red couch!)

Home for the Holidays! {Georgetown Family Photographer}

I've been photographing one piece of this extended family for many years now. When Karri called to say her whole family would be in Georgetown this Thanksgiving, I was thrilled and honored to create a family portrait series for them. We had the most gorgeous weather, thank goodness, and went to a local park for the session. Here are a couple of highlights. With seven ADORABLE grandkids, there were too many favorites to narrow down! Enjoy!

My Adorable Nephews! {Austin Family Photographer}

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving celebration a few days late, on Sunday. My kids were so excited that their cousins were coming over! I called and told them to be ready, I felt a family session in their future, LOL. We barely beat the rain, it was so overcast, but got some really cute stuff of the boys - especially C, who rarely smiles if a camera is pointed toward him!! These were all taken outdoors on our studio grounds. Here are a few faves...

Way Too Long! {Austin Family Photographer}

It was great catching up with the P family recently. I first photographed the lovely Alicia when she was pregnant, then baby B's first session as a newborn. I hadn't seen them (and no, they didn't cheat on me, they just hadn't had any professional photos taken) in so long, so I was really excited when she called to book this session. I'm just IN LOVE with this little guy and his blonde curls and big brown eyes!! Here are a few of my faves from their session. Here's to hoping it won't be as long til I see them again :) First, a blast from the past - from B's newborn session....
Isn't he just adorable???

Daddy's Girls {Georgetown Family Photographer}

I had the pleasure of photographing the B family recently (at my new, fab, EXCLUSIVE location!). What a great time we had, traipsing around the ponds. The girls were gorgeous in their pretty dresses and blonde hair - Daddy's perfect princesses! But change into jeans and boots and they were ready for anything - even jumping off of the back of a trailer (multiple times!!). Here are a few of my faves from their session.

They emailed me different spaces in the house (with measurements) so that I could help design wall galleries, like the one above.

LOVE those pink boots!!
