Another Mr. T!!

Meet Talen, my newest "Mr. T." Talen isn't "technically" a newborn at six weeks, but boy was he cute. He definitely did NOT like the little hat, but I think it turned out adorable. And Mom wanted the selective color, which goes great with this image! And look how great his mom looks already!! WOW! Here are a couple of my faves ...

Model Magic

As I mentioned earlier, I have a new project in the works. I can't reveal just yet, but I had another friend bring in her baby to let me create some sample images. This is Haley. She is just precious - so good natured and CUTE! Here are a couple of my faves (other than the secret stuff - I promise, I'll reveal it soon!!). Notice my cool new wall - it's covered with "antique" tiles and makes a really neat background!

Who Do You Love??

We had a great turnout for our Valentine promotion! I just love seeing all the "big kids" as well as some of my sweet little ones. I think it was great timing to have a school holiday because I did get to photograph some of those "tweens" that are soooo much fun! Anyway, I know everyone is waiting for a sneak peek, and tomorrow I'm off to see VAN HALEN!!! so here goes...

Halfway There!

Well, actually 2/3 if you want to get technical. Little Amelie is one of our Bright Beginnings Club Members and she is now eight months old! And so adorable, I might add. She was super sweet, especially after she warmed up, but she is crawling now so didn't want "too much" to do with taking photos!! Anyway, we got some amazing captures. Here are a few of my favorites...

Miss Millie

Little Millie is the daughter of one of my fellow MOPS moms. She volunteered to let me photograph Millie for an upcoming promotion. I can't share those just yet, but we also took a few just for fun. Here are a few of my faves. It was HARD to choose because this little doll was just so happy and smiley the whole time. Thanks, Tanya, for sharing her with me!!

Calendars Are Here!!

Our 2008 desk calendars are here! We mailed out copies to everyone who came in for a session in 2007, so you should get one in the next day or so. If you did not receive one, feel free to stop by to get one, or if you want additional copies. They are also available at Wiggles & Giggles in Georgetown. Here are a couple sneak peeks of our calendar cuties for 2008... Man, was it hard to choose!!

Baby Brooke

This little darling came in this week, just a few days new! Isn't she just precious? She slept for the first part, but then got hungry. After her snack, she was just so wide-eyed and alert, but totally calm. I really wanted to keep her :) Here are a few of my faves...

Screen Test!!

I know I use this blog for mostly business stuff, but I am so excited to share this! Yesterday, Will and I took the kids down to an open call for extras for a movie that will be filmed in Austin. (Starring BRAD PITT - so you can see my motivation for wanting to be involved :) Anyway, we waited in line for about two hours and the kids were really great. We got up to our turn and they wanted to screen test both Abby and Liam!! It doesn't mean they will be used in the film, but they are considering them. We are so excited!! Apparently there are several kids who speak in the film (minor stuff, but still!!) and our kids are possibilities! We didn't get to go in with them for their tests (we were outside in the hall) but they both seemed to do well. Abby, who is usually so shy and reserved, was just super animated and talking up a storm. So whatever they asked her, she REALLY had an answer. Liam looked more serious, which is funny because he is usually the more dramatic one, but his expression barely changed the whole time, but he WAS talking. Will keep you all posted!!

Classic Beauty

Stacey visited me today for maternity portraits. She is just so beautiful! I could not get over her perfect red hair (I'll admit I have a love for red hair, my daddy is a redhead!!). She wasn't sure about the "burrito wrap" as she called it, but I think it turned out gorgeous! I wanted to share a couple of my faves ...

Happy New Year!

Wow, 2008. The last year seems to have flown by. I really enjoyed working with each of my clients. I am so honored to be allowed into your lives and families to capture beautiful memories and create art that you will enjoy for a lifetime.

I have been out of town for a couple of weeks, enjoying some DOWN TIME with my family. We will be "back to business" on Monday! So if anyone has called or emailed and not gotten a response, please bear with me. Having some time away has really gotten me rejuvenated and ready to tackle the new year.

I also had the honor of photographing a little girl out here (in my husband's home town in west Texas) who has leukemia. Adison is a spunky little thing, and we had a great time! I will be creating a DVD slideshow for her family (my treat!) and will post a few images here in a few days. It really put things into perspective for me, and made me really cherish the time here with my kids as my focus with no other distractions.

We have got some great stuff planned for this month, with a couple of Children's Portrait Events, as well as a special Valentine offer for your adult sweetie. Watch for details on the Children's specials, and give me a call for info on the adult special.

2008 is going to be a great year!! I look forward to seeing you all soon!!
