Big Family Fun

Recently I requested on this blog to have a large family with lots of kids come in for a complimentary session. I had several requests, which I tried my best to honor! Here is the most recent. We had tons of fun with all these children and their mothers and grandmother - even great grandma got in a few. What a treasure to have so many generations in one photo (and one new little one on the way). With such a large group, we had quite a few images to choose from, but here are a few of my favorites. I hope they are checking this blog for this little sneak peek ...

Baby A!

Here is my most recent newborn - baby Aidan. His daddy is going off to Iraq in a couple months (thank you for your service!!!) but we got to spend some time doing some first family portraits. Aidan was the sweetest little guy - barely any crying and NO "accidents." I think it is a first for my studio LOL. They are coming back soon to see the images, and I have a special little treat for Daddy to take with him when he deploys. But until then, here is a sneak peek ...

Fun at the Beach!!

We had our annual beach sessions a couple weeks ago. There were so many great images from all the families, I am behind in posting! Please forgive me :) This is Miss Meagan's family. I love photographing this spunky little gal. She is one of my favorite clients (I love you all, but she just makes me smile every time I see her!!) and we had such fun at the beach. Watching the dolphins, building sandcastles, even running in the waves - all great activities for a fun family portrait. Here are a few of my *many* favorites...

Fun Senior

Taylor came in to see me today. What a fun, adorable girl! She is on her way to USC to study theatre. I am sure that one day I'll be able to say "I knew her when!" She is a lovely girl and I had to share a few of her images, since she'll be on a plane in a couple of days...

Miss Haley

This little girl is very special to me. I met her mommy a couple years ago but feel like I have known her forever. Their family has been through a lot, but right now I'd like to ask all my blog readers to say a little prayer for her, as she begins chemo next week. We wanted to capture some fun portraits of her before the chemo takes her precious curls. She is such a sweet little soul and is loved by many. Please keep their family in your prayers!

Turning ONE!

Several of our Bright Beginnings Club babies are graduating. Here is Sanai, one of the cutest little thing!! She has such a bright smile and is always happy. She is already walking and was really fast, but we managed to get some amazing portraits to commemorate her first birthday. Here are a few of my favorites...

Share-a-Session SALE!

Summer is winding down, the kids are restless, and it's too hot to play outside anyway! Round up a friend (you know that you aren't the only one who has been putting off getting a portrait) and schedule back-to-back sessions, and share the session fee! For the next two weeks (through August 21), call to book a "share-a-session" and you split the session fee! Sessions must be booked back-to-back, and will overlap by a short time so we can get those "friend" shots that are so adorable.

Don't delay - sessions must take place by September 15. Perfect for babies, children, cousins, high school seniors, even families. Sessions will be held at the studio, either indoor or outside on our ten acre portrait park. Mention you saw it on the blog and you each recieve a photo keychain from the session!

Sweet Family

I had the pleasure of photographing the Cash family last week. I just fell in love with little Miss Kennedy. She was just a DOLL! We had a blast down by our creek (which actually had water, with all this rain we've had) - catching tiny frogs and playing "1-2-3-WHEE!" with Mommy & Daddy. And since Will was assisting me on this shoot, he was talked into bringing out one of our baby bunnies (it didn't take too much convincing!!). Here are a couple sneak peeks for Mom & Dad ...

Pirates and Princesses, Oh My!

Look at these two beautiful children! I have been photographing little Grant since he was just a newborn, and big sister Blair around the same time. They are so gorgeous and so easy to work with! Grant is full of energy - all boy! - so we have fun jumping and clowning around. Blair is like a little model - that girl can POSE. Here are a few fun shots from their session. Of course none of my favorites are in what mom brought for them to wear (but I did include one, they were very cute outfits :) but what I thought captured their REAL selves (pirates and princesses!!). Enjoy!

Baby B!

Meet Brayden. I photographed his mommy a few weeks ago before he made his debut. Isn't he just so sweet?? His mommy has a portrait of herself as a baby in an antique baby scale so we tried to replicate it. Here is a sneak peek for his mommy - I know she is anxious to see them! Enjoy :)

Lots of newborns this week!

There must have been something in the water about nine months ago :) The studio has been full of newborn babies this week!! And I love it!! Will says we are "done" having children, so I really got to fulfill my "baby fix" this week.
This is Cason. He was such a calm baby - and look at those cheeks. Sooooo adorable!! Just a little peek for mommy ...

Big Man Cash!

This adorable guy is Cash. He just turned ONE!! I love one year olds, they are so much fun. I met Cash for the first time at our session, so it took him a few minutes to warm up to me, but once we pulled out that CAKE he was happy as a clam Here are a few sneak peeks for mom & dad...

Happy Birthday, Natalie!

This is little Natalie. I have been honored to watch her grow up this first year of her life and capture all her milestones. She is such a beautiful little girl. Here is a sneak peek, especially since her Mommy can't get back out here to see them until school starts in a few weeks!
