{Austin Woman Photographer} Wife, Mother, Friend, Survivor

My dear friend, Lynette, is a breast cancer survivor. She has been so strong in all the trials she has been through, and wanted to do something special - to celebrate not only her beating this horrible affliction, but also to celebrate her being a WOMAN! I was thrilled to help her. Incorporating the "pink ribbon" symbol was important, so we made her into the ribbon. We had a really good time creating special images, not only for herself, some for her hubby, and one special image for her daughters. Here are a few of my faves ...

{Georgetown Senior Photographer} The Lovely Miss Ashley

I love it when I get a referral from a happy client. Ashley's mom was sent to me by one of my confirmation students from last spring. What a fun girl! She not only has some cool ink but also plays the violin. Yes, I made her play for me :) We did both indoor and outside here at the studio. I know she is going to love these!! Here are a few of my faves of this beautiful GHS senior ...

{Georgetown Pregnancy Photographer} Boy or Girl?

That is the question... The gorgeous Alison is in my book club and is expecting her third child. She is going to wait til the birth to find out the answer to that question. Which totally baffles me, since I am the *queen* of impatience - I had to find out as soon as possible with both of mine!
I was honored to have Alison and her adorable boys in the studio to capture this special time. Here are a few of my faves ...

{Austin Family Photographer} Grands are Great!

The "C" family came in over spring break for a special portrait session with their grandchildren. Mrs. C bought my auction donation at the PlayBingo event for the Center for Child Protection last fall. Such a great cause, and such a great family! Both kids looked great, I daresay they even had fun before we were done :) And they will all treasure the portrait with their grandparents! Here are a few of my faves ...

{Georgetown Family Photographer} Bundles of Energy!

The "B" family came to see me recently for a family session. You may remember Lynn from our "Hot Mamas" portrait party. Her two girls were just delightful, and full of energy. Add dad and a big, very gentle dog, and you've got one fabulous family! They've been waiting a bit for this sneak peek (due to their traveling over spring break) so I know they are anxious to see the great images we captured. Here are a few faves.
The storyteller collage is a favorite from this type of session because it really showcases the fun we all had.
I just love this image of the girls with their dog. You could really tell this dog loves them - he was so patient with all the hugging, giggling and activity. Such a special bond between a child and their pet!

{Georgetown Baby Photographer} Baby H!

Sweet Hensley is one of our Bright Beginnings Baby's First Year club members. This was her 4-month session, where we look for that milestone of pushing up on the tummy. She did GREAT! And not only that - she rolled over from tummy to back FOR THE FIRST TIME! Yes, folks, not one but two big milestones captured right here in our studio! I just love seeing my little clients reach these stages in their young lives, and look forward to capturing many more over the years. Here are a couple of faves, plus a collage we made from the precious handmade quilt that adorns her room - it's an ABC quilt, but we pulled the letters of her name to make an adorable collage for her room. Enjoy!

{Georgetown Baby Photographer} Eli Turns One!

It is such a treat to share the special moments with a family and create photographs to capture those memories. I've know the S family for several years now, with "C" being in our Bright Beginnings Baby's First Year Club, then little brother Eli, who just turned one. I can't believe how fast time goes by! Eli took a little time to warm up this time (totally normal at this age) but when he did, we sure got some winning expressions. We even got both boys together at the VERY end - because Eli didn't want to ride the truck, but big brother sure did! Here are a few of my faves ...
And here is his storyteller collage, showcasing how much he has grown this year!

{Georgetown Baby Photographer} Baby J!

Little J is one of our Bright Beginnings Baby's First Year Club members. You last saw him here as a newborn. He is growing like a weed, and already sitting up, and as cute as can be! I just love all his little rolls!! And mom and dad are so gorgeous, we had to get a family portrait at this session, too! Here are a few faves...

{Georgetown Child Photographer} Bunnies, Part Deaux

More fun from our bunny days sessions last week. This is one of my favorite events of the year! There is nothing cuter than a child and a fuzzy bunny. And the expressions on the children's faces are priceless - from curiosity to endearment to outright shock! But all in fun. Here are a few more faves ...

{Austin Newborn Photographer} Little Longhorn!

When Julie called me to inquire about a newborn session and told me what big Texas Longhorn fans she and her hubby are, I got really excited! They wanted to incorporate a helmet and/or football somehow into baby N's session. Well, I'm thrilled with what we created! There are more than these, but if I gave it ALL away here, well, it wouldn't be as much fun when they come in to see them in person. Here are a few faves...

{Georgetown Newborn Photographer} Brand New Man!

Meet little "L." Isn't he the sweetest thing? I met his family (mom, dad, uncle, grandma & grandpa) a couple of years ago when they booked a "Home for the Holidays" session. They were visiting all the way from Alaska! I was thrilled when Heather called to say she was expecting, and so excited to meet "L." From seeing his daddy and his uncle, I'd recommend buying some stock in a grocery chain - these are big, manly men, and I would be that L is going to be the same. But for now, he is adorable in his tiny newness. And I'm so excited to be sharing the journey of his first year in our Bright Beginnings - Baby's First Year Club! Here are a few of my faves from his newborn session...

{Austin Family Photographer} Seven x 2!

The adorable "B" twins (who are 7yrs old) came to see me, along with their gorgeous mommy recently. I could tell that they did not expect to have fun - so I took full advantage and got some beautiful serious looks. Then when I let them climb all over my red couch, they realized this was not some stuffy portrait studio! The real personalities let loose, jumping, dancing and having a great time. Here are a few of my faves ...

{Austin Pregnancy Photographer} Just in Time...

The lovely Lorelie called me this past week and said that she wanted maternity portraits. Yay, I love the pregnant female form, and this is one of my favorite types of sessions. While we chatted about what she'd like to do, she casually mentioned that she was already 2 cm dilated!! WHAT?? We had to hurry and make our plans, which *almost* got foiled by the darn rain. I put on my rubber boots and headed to Barton Creek, the sky stayed dry for the time we were there, and we had a blast! I love the images we captured, they really show the love these two young people share, and the excitement of the new family they have created. Enjoy a few of my faves ...

{Georgetown Child Photographer} Bunnies, part I

Wow, what a weekend! I am sooo tired from all the bunny wrangling. But seeing the faces on the children is so worth it. Some LOVE the bunnies, some HATE the bunnies, but it is always exciting! Here are a few faves that I've proofed so far. Look for part II in the next couple of days!! And if you'd like to get on the list for next year, let me know. This event sells out every year!!
