Special Day {Georgetown Teen Photographer}

I was honored to photograph the 8th grade confirmation at my church, Zion Lutheran, recently. It is such a special day for these young people. They all looked gorgeous for the early-morning portraits, then a beautiful ceremony that the families could share. A few highlights from the day...

{Georgetown Child Photographer} Big J!

I love this kid! He has been in class with my daughter for 2 years now, and he is so much fun. And such a sweetie - when Abby was out sick one day, he painted a beautiful painting for her (which now hangs in her room). This is his second time to come in to commemorate his birthday - we did a few for mom and something fun for his room. Plus, he's graduating Kindergarten - doesn't he look distinguished?? Here are a few faves ...

{Georgetown Child Photographer} Jumpin' J!

I love this little guy! He has been in twice now, to commemorate his birthdays. J just turned SIX and is a bundle of energy! He was great to make mom happy with some nice portraits, but his fun personality really came through in his John Deere green! Here are a few of my faves. I especially love that mom jumped in for a couple. That is something they will both treasure!

{Georgetown Baby Photographer} Eli Turns One!

It is such a treat to share the special moments with a family and create photographs to capture those memories. I've know the S family for several years now, with "C" being in our Bright Beginnings Baby's First Year Club, then little brother Eli, who just turned one. I can't believe how fast time goes by! Eli took a little time to warm up this time (totally normal at this age) but when he did, we sure got some winning expressions. We even got both boys together at the VERY end - because Eli didn't want to ride the truck, but big brother sure did! Here are a few of my faves ...
And here is his storyteller collage, showcasing how much he has grown this year!

{Georgetown Child Photographer} Bunnies, Part Deaux

More fun from our bunny days sessions last week. This is one of my favorite events of the year! There is nothing cuter than a child and a fuzzy bunny. And the expressions on the children's faces are priceless - from curiosity to endearment to outright shock! But all in fun. Here are a few more faves ...

Sweet Sisters {Austin Family Photographer}

I've been photographing Meagan since she was just starting to walk. Now that she has a little sister, who is just starting to walk, our most recent session was, well, a bit more challenging!! Meagan totally knows how to work for the camera, and that came in handy since Mollie is not quite there yet - she simply wanted to run away from the camera, away from the lights, and away from me! But little did she know my wicked skills!! I was thrilled to see the images I captured, and I know that their mom will be, too! Here are a few of my faves...

Lil Angel Hannah {Austin Charity Photographer}

This is our Helping Hearts for Haiti week! Your $25 donation to the Red Cross rewards you not only with a great feeling of helping those in need, but also earns you a FREE angel session. Little Hannah came in on Monday for her session. I hadn't seen her in about a year - she has grown into such a pretty little lady of two. And a bonus, her daddy, who is proudly serving our country, was here for the session, so we snuck him into a couple of images. He's leaving soon for more training then back to the middle east, so my special gift for Hannah is a print of her and her daddy! Here are a few faves from her angel mini session ...

So Grown Up! {Georgetown Child Photographer}

I've been working with these girls since B was a newborn! Wow, they have grown up soooo much (even though I still have a 24x30 canvas of them from 2 yrs ago up in my studio - one of my all-time faves!!). Look at N with her missing front teeth!! Now *that* is a moment you should definitely capture in a portrait. She is so adorable! Anyway, they came in recently, along with big brother M for holiday portraits. Here are a few of my faves...

Such a Happy Guy! {Austin Child Photographer}

Patrick came in recently for a session. He is the most adorable little two year old I've seen in a long time. He wasn't too sure about me at first, but then he warmed right up and gave me some of the sweetest smiles! We did a few in the studio, then went outside in a new spot - with our lack of rain, my old standbys are not so pretty now! I thought these turned out really cute. Love his little overalls!
