Special Day {Georgetown Teen Photographer}

I was honored to photograph the 8th grade confirmation at my church, Zion Lutheran, recently. It is such a special day for these young people. They all looked gorgeous for the early-morning portraits, then a beautiful ceremony that the families could share. A few highlights from the day...

I had the pleasure of photographing Erin's senior portraits recently. She is SO GORGEOUS - I thought for sure she had modeled! She was a natural in front of the camera - and totally has a Ralph Lauren look, don't you think?

I always ask seniors to bring in items that show off who they are, what they love to do, etc. Erin definitely has the most original activity - she is an Irish dancer. She even did a few steps for me, and Abby came in to watch (and was totally enthralled). I'm so excited to share these images! Here are a few faves ...

I can't believe I've missed an entire week of blogging! But the studio remodel is coming along nicely - we are literally a few coats of paint and flooring away from being finished!! Thank you for all your patience if you have been waiting for a blog post - I'm going to catch up this week.

{Austin Senior Photographer} Sweet Shelby!

I love when a client has definite ideas about how they want their images to look. It is a great collaborative process to come up with something fun. Shelby was open to my ideas for in-studio but wanted some earthy-outdoorsy stuff as well. I think we came up with some amazing images she is going to LOVE. Here are a few of my faves. Wow, I have had SO much fun with all the seniors this spring. We still have several to go, and some spaces open! The adorable Cassi came in recently for a designer session - which includes our indoor studio and outside on our ten acre property. She brought so many cool outfits and activities; we even took her out in her prom dress to the railroad tracks!! So creative!! Here are a few of my faves ..

Okay, I had to say it :) Keith came in for his senior session recently and yes, he is TALL, and very handsome, and well, the hat made me think "dark." Such great style! We got lots of great stuff, from his treasured pickup (crunched bumper and all), his dog, and other fun memories to celebrate this special time. Here are a few of my faves...

Ahh, Fourrteen - Austin Teen Photographer

So young, yet so old. I remember fourteen. I'd like to forget most of it, LOL. But Miss Lauren, I'm sure, is having the time of her life. She has been bugging her mom (for years!) to come in for a session, and they finally did. The braces came off recently and you can see her gorgeous smile. She is such a pretty girl! We had a lot of fun with all her outfits, it was like being a model for a day! Here are a few of my faves, although Carla, get ready, you will love them ALL!

I'm notorious for dragging mom into a few shots. Isn't this awesome! Mom and daughter are both so gorgeous!!
