Cute Mommy-to-Be!

Alicia came to see me today for maternity portraits. We had a blast talking about babies, delivery (she is having a scheduled c-section, like I did with my Abby), and making some great photographs! She was so cute and spunky. I can't wait to meet little Brayden when he arrives - in about two weeks!! Here is a sneak peek for her...

Meet Brady

This adorable little guy came in this week and stole my heart. He was so expressive! I wanted to send a sneak peek to his mommy and daddy (and grandma came for a couple photographs, too!!). Enjoy!

Blog Special - Come out and PLAY!

I told you all it was coming, specials just for those of you who read this blog! Well, last week I spent some time with an AMAZING photographer from Illinois, Sarah Petty. She has a really fun style and has inspired me to try something new! And you get the benefit :)
For the next week, call to schedule a FREE session in the studio (930-1902). We'll be focusing on having FUN and wearing bright colors (something I have historically shied away from). Very "Gap-kids" style - so bring out those fun outfits with stripes and polka dots, hats and ties! And for being my guinea pigs, I will thank you with the session and one small desk portrait.
Sessions need to be scheduled during the next week (June 25-29) but can take place through July 13. I look forward to seeing you!

A little R&R

No, I haven't fallen off the face of the planet, I've just finally taken some time away. Will and I spent the last week in Cabo san Lucas! We attended a photography seminar with some awesome photographers - a little work and a little fun. It was great to photograph models in such a beautiful place, and then to relax by the pool or on the beach every afternoon. The week went by really fast, but I did miss my kiddos and I think they took their Mimi (Will's mom) to her limit of "grandmotherly love."

Mommy-to-Be

This is Sandra. She came to see me this past week to have maternity portraits taken. She is expecting little Alayna in just a few weeks. Isn't she beautiful? I can't wait to meet Alayna for her newborn, I'm sure she will be just as pretty as mommy :)

Samantha & Ryan

I have the honor of photographing a wonderful couple's wedding this fall. You met Sam under the post "Texas Bride." Here she is with her fiance, Ryan. He is a local firefighter! They are just the sweetest couple ever!

Miss Colby

Meet Miss Colby, the newest member of our Bright Beginnings Baby Club. I'm so lucky, I get to see her at least three times this year to document all her cute changes! She was such a sweetie today, not fussy at all! Big brother, Cade, was great, too. But I think he had more fun watching the ducks after the session! :)

Baby G

I had the pleasure of photographing baby G today, and his big brother, Sam. They were so much fun! I'm sure their mom, Lora Lee, was tired by the time we were done, but we got some GREAT stuff. Here's a sneak peek...

Another gorgeous bride!

This lovely bride is Lauren. She and Josh are getting married in just over a week! We had lots of fun at the Texas capital shooting her bridal portrait. It was touch and go all afternoon, as there was a HUGE storm, but by 6pm it was sunny and clear. Whew!

Class of '08

Wow, are kids getting more gorgeous these days? I've been photographing the class of 2008 this week and everyone looks FABULOUS! Here are Amanda, Harlan, and Josh.
