Baby Marlee - Austin Newborn Photographer

I know many of my blog readers have already met Miss Marlee on Facebook. She made her appearance a month early, but is healthy as can be! She actually arrived a few days before her gorgeous mama's scheduled MATERNITY session. Oh well, we didn't get to do that one, but we had the most AMAZING newborn session. I love having babies in this young - I think she was 6 or 7 days here - as they just want to sleep and curl and do all those "newborn-y" things! Anyway, I'll stop gushing now over this beautiful baby girl and show some of my (many) favorites!!

She pretty much slept the whole time, but we did get a FEW awake images. She really did NOT like the lights at all - I told Jessie that was a sign of future times when she didn't want to get up for school, LOL. I see that one now with my 7yr old, haha.

Senior from Big-D! Austin Senior Photographer

Yep, this beauty came all the way from Dallas so that I could photograph her. Makes me feel pretty good :) She chose the Cosmo session, so we spent an entire day traipsing around Austin, the spent another couple hours in and around the studio. WHEW! She is going to have an amazing album, though, as we have almost 200 great images!! Here are a few of my faves, I know B has been waiting patiently...

Baby Anna - Austin Newborn Photographer

Our next newborn is sweet baby Anna. I've been waiting to meet her for almost nine months! Her family attends our church and school, and of course I've been hinting around that I'd love to see her. Lucky me, Sara called and brought in her gang just in time to have little Anna's newborn portraits. I know Sara really hoped we'd get something good of all three together - which is REALLY challenging with a 5yr, 2yr and newborn. But I think we got some great images she will love!
And I tell you, this one did not sleep at all! The ones here were just when she would settle for a second. But no crying - just wide awake and alert. You can tell she is going to be very perceptive!! Here are a few of my faves ...

I just love this little hat. It's a family heirloom, as is the christening gown. Each of the children has worn the gown. So special!!

Baby Boom! Austin Newborn Photographer

We've had a wonderful week of newborns here at the studio. First up is Isabella, she is so sweet and precious! Came in completely wide-eyed, then conked out hard. Basically, a perfect session. I have the best job in the world, I get to snuggle and cuddle these sweet things, then make beautiful keepsake art for their families, then I get to send them home to wake up someone else at 2am :) I get all the best parts!!
