I love hanging with kids in the elementary years. They are so much fun, they are truly "themselves" with none of the hangups we seem to garner over the years. This is Elijah and he came in for a birthday session and collage. His birthday just passed, but he'll see this today on his party day, and I hope he loves it! And a couple of my other faves from the session ...

Ahh, Fourrteen - Austin Teen Photographer

So young, yet so old. I remember fourteen. I'd like to forget most of it, LOL. But Miss Lauren, I'm sure, is having the time of her life. She has been bugging her mom (for years!) to come in for a session, and they finally did. The braces came off recently and you can see her gorgeous smile. She is such a pretty girl! We had a lot of fun with all her outfits, it was like being a model for a day! Here are a few of my faves, although Carla, get ready, you will love them ALL!

I'm notorious for dragging mom into a few shots. Isn't this awesome! Mom and daughter are both so gorgeous!!

I first met the "U" girls two years ago when they came in for a session. I fell in love with them, they are so funny and just fun to hang with. I also love their mom, she and I have become good friends. I just have the best job and meet the coolest people! The girls came in for a session recently and seeing them through my lens - I told Heather that she better get a big shotgun - to keep the boys away. Cute Cousins - Austin Baby Photographer

The "B" cousins came in recently for a session. I was expecting two girls, but we had a surprise early arrival of little brother B. The goal was an image of the two girls, in these adorable dresses from Grandma. We got that, and more. I know they will love them! Here are a few of my favorites ...

Everyone knows I am the "tutu lady" and I had just gotten this new one with rose petals. The girls each had a turn to try it out. I love these!!

Purses Are In!!

Wow, these are just gorgeous! I'm so thrilled that I went with my gut instinct and offered these for our Valentine sessions. The petite size purses are so cute! I chose a larger one, with the upgrade to a photo on either side, and also got a wallet. But the coolest one is the dop kit - I ordered one for my son to hold all his Nintendo DS paraphernalia. He thinks it is so neat to have his own bag - and of course, his sister now wants her own, so I guess I'll get that one next!

We'll be offering the bags from now own, and will have a special coming up soon for Mother's day!

These two cuties came in for a session recently. The "V" sisters were not so close in age, but they were very close and you could see the love between them. And what personalities! I loved that "B" brought in her collection on Chucks as well as her swimming gear. Little "R" was just so sweet and sassy, I love this age so much! A Big Brother - by now! Austin Children's Photographer

I've known this little guy since he was a newborn, and he is a big brother - by a whole week! When his mom booked this two-year old session, she didn't even mention she was pregnant - matter of fact, was going in to be induced in a couple of days! Well, the new baby is here (and I don't know if it's a boy or girl, I'll find out tomorrow!!) and I'm excited to share these favorites from "C's" session... And I can't wait to photograph the newest member in a couple of weeks! Congrats Gabe and Lizzie!!

I had the pleasure of photographing the D family recently. Little "L" was such a cutie! And oh-so-two!
