We had a blast photographing all our lil cowboys and cowgirls. And now that we have our cool western wall (which will "live"outside on the side of my prop barn), we'll be able to offer this theme for regular sessions, too! Here are some of our favorite lil' buckaroos...

Womb to Bloom - Austin Maternity Photographer
I am so excited to share a new website I am partnered with. It's called Womb to Bloom and is an amazing resource for expectant mommies, parents of infants and small children. It's just getting started, but I urge you to check it out, or share with someone you know who might need it!
And if I've photographed your baby (or even children or family or senior!) would you take a moment to give me a review? My direct page is here and I'd love to see some comments :) Thanks in advance :)

Lil Slugger - Austin Childrens' Photographer
The "D" family came to see me recently, along with their lil' slugger, D. What a cutie! And full of energy! He really gave me a run for my money :) And yes, I did let him loose in the studio with a baseball bat! Call me crazy, but I think the images are worth it!! Here are a few of my faves ...

Lovely Young Girl - Austin Children's Photographer
I met miss "M" recently for a session. Isn't she a beauty?? We were all kind of bummed that the weather did not cooperate, as we had hoped to go outdoors (but we really needed the rain!). We stayed in the studio and had a great time. She was a little shy at first but warmed right up. I mean, who can resist my really silly jokes, and getting to pose like a supermodel?? She even brought in her American Girl doll, which was fun because I am currently obsessed with them and want to buy one for Abby. (Which I will do, but it has to be because SHE wants one, not because I want one, LOL). Here are a few of my faves from her session ...

Ladies in Red - Austin Children's Photographer
The "H" family came all the way from San Antonio to see me. You'll remember baby Chloe from last year, just a few months old, now almost a year! It was great to meet her big brother and sister, too. The dresses came from their grandmother, who teaches at my children's school - they are sooo pretty and the red really "pops" against the white. I know that Grammie is anxious to see a sneak, so here are a few of my faves ...

Cowboy Take Me Away - Austin Family Photographer
The "B" family came in recently for an outdoor session on our ten acre studio property. When discussing what they would be wearing, she said of her sons and hubby, "They are cowboys, can they bring hats?" Of course! And the belt buckles are too cool!! I was hoping they'd also bring along one of their horses, but it ended up they couldn't. Next time, for sure!
I loved the way they all interacted. You can tell they really have a close family. I enjoyed working with them all! Such handsome boys, too! Here are a few of my faves ...

Bunny Sessions March 27-28 - Austin Children's Photographer
The bunnies are coming! Our annual bunny event will take place on March 27-28, plenty of time to have portraits before Easter. We've got a few spots left! You may book by choosing the "buy now" button on the side of this blog. Please include your preferred session time, along with names/ages of your children, in the PayPal notes!! Also your phone number, so we can contact you to confirm your session.
This year's set will include a lovely iron gate and spring flowers, in a muted overall color scheme. Pastels, dark blues, greens or browns, khakis/neutrals and white are all perfect for this set, and it is perfect for boys or girls. (Images shown here are from past years.) I'm also very excited about my new vintage bunny buggy. You have to see it to love it like I do, but it's a baby carriage type buggy with a vintage bunny carved into the front. Any little girl will LOVE to push around a "baby bunny" in this buggy!

Oh Those Eyes! Austin Baby Photographer
Little Miss Kacie is one of our Bright Beginnings Club babies. This is her third session, and wow she has grown so much! From a teeny-tiny premie to beautiful blue eyed girl! She has the MOST AMAZING blue eyes! Jen, you make some pretty babies!!
Kacie was very patient with us through outfit changes and all - she loved the silver rattle with the tutu. And even broke in my new baby-sized formal sofa (I soooo want one of these in grown-up size!!). Of course we had to snap a few of big sister (and one of our Leap & Bounds club kids), Natalie, too. Here are a few of my faves...

Spring Break - Back to Work!
I hope you haven't missed me too much! This week my kiddos are on spring break. Of course I am still working, but we took a quick trip to San Antonio just to "get away." It was a lot of fun for the kids, and I now have a much better respect for my own parents. Traveling with children is not easy, especially when there are throngs of tourists (who knew the Alamo was the #1 tourist spot in Texas?? not me!!). Here are a few highlights of our quick trip...
Will and I were also able to get away for one night of adult time. We ate downtown at Fogo de Chou and then spent the night at Vintage Villas. It was really wonderful to just sit, eat, have a cocktail together - uninterrupted! A great way to celebrate our tenth anniversary!
We are back at the studio now, so keep your eyes peeled for new sneak peeks. Lots coming!

Teen Dreamin - Austin Senior Photographer
Okay, she's not quite a senior, but this gorgeous teen has some big dreams. Courtney came in for a session to focus on her aspiring acting career. We have some amazing productions in this area - did you know Friday Night Lights is filmed right here in Central Texas? - and she'd like to have some fab photos for her auditions. I was honored to help her achieve this goal. I am sure she will go far, she is not only beautiful, but sweet and smart, too! Here are a few of my faves from her session ...
If you are a senior and have not had your graduation portraits taken, it's not too late! Give us a call now and we will schedule your session with plenty of time for custom party invites, wallets to include in graduation announcements/thank you notes, and that gorgeous portrait that you KNOW mom wants!! 930-1902
