The C Family - Austin Family Photographer

I had the pleasure of a visit by the C family recently. Katelyn came to see me last year, a little reluctant to be photographed, but this year she trusted me a bit more. Especially when we pulled out her prized bass guitar! This can be a tough age, but exploring the things that matter most can really break the ice, not to mention get some cool images! Here are a few of my faves from their session ...

Mommy & Me April 17-18

Baby Eli Joins Bright Beginnings! Austin Baby Photographer

Meet Eli, our newest Bright Beginnings Baby Club member! He is the "spitting image" of big brother, Caleb, who graduated from the club a year ago. I look forward to sharing this next year with Eli (and I'm sure I'll get to see Mr. Caleb some, too). Anytime you have a small baby and a two-year-old in the studio, it's always a bit of a challenge, but I am happy with the results! Here are a few of my faves ...

The "H" boys paid me a visit recently and they were definitely "all boy!" We tromped in the creek, jumped off rocks, saw a snake peek his head out of a hole, had races, even fell on a log and scraped a knee. Whew! I will admit I was worn out afterward, but am thrilled with the images we created. I know mom will be, too. Tammy, here are a few of my faves ...

BUNNIES! - Austin Children's Photographer

We had such fun last weekend with the bunnies. It is always such a joy to see the eyes light up when a child sees the bunnies. Even moreso when they actually HOP! We had a lot of kiddos that I hadn't seen in awhile, which was great (but reminds me that I am getting OLDER...). I love that so many parents have entrusted these special memories to me, for so many years. (Now, when my newborns start calling me for weddings... :) Here are a few faves from Bunny Days 2009...

Bright Beginnings Newest Member - Austin Baby Photographer

Meet little "G" our newest Bright Beginnings Club Member. He was a premie, but you'd never know it! I loved his little round face. He was such a good baby! Slept for part of the time, and then was nice and alert for a few. And his big brother was so sweet, too. Here are a few of my faves from his first session. Enjoy!

Meet Miss "C" who is the new baby sister of Kellen, on of our Bright Beginnings club graduates. And I'm thrilled that C has also joined the club! I look forward to documenting all her adorableness this year. Here are a few faves from her newborn session. Mr. Kellen didn't make this session, because he was in for the bunny portraits, which I'll post in one other day :)

Isn't she sweet here? Her grammy made this precious blanket for her.

And we were lucky enough to have Grammy with them, so we grabbed her for a couple of images. These will b so special for little C!

Okay, I'm not *really* star struck, but this gorgeous girl reminded me SO MUCH of a famous actress. The first person to guess correctly - in the comment field (gotta get you local readers to COMMENT) - will win a spring mini session on a weekday in April. Put those thinking caps on...

The National Charity Model Search has been a great success!! The entries are now closed, but voting will continue through April 2 - that is Thursday of next week!! Be sure to go here and cast your vote. Our city to watch is HOUSTON, and the little models from our studio have "teri_mason" in the name. Currently, our own Kayden Miller is hanging in there at 5th place for our city. Let's bump him up! Or vote for any of our other cuties!!
